About Me
Hi, I’m Neil.
This work comes from my own experience of trying to understand myself—and figuring out what actually makes a real difference.
For a long time
For a long time, I felt like something wasn’t quite right—but I couldn’t fully make sense of it.
I was dealing with physical issues, mental noise, and a constant sense that something in my life wasn’t working the way it should.
I spent a lot of time trying to fix it—reading, experimenting, trying different approaches—looking for something that would actually work.
Sometimes things helped. But the clarity never fully lasted.
It felt like I was always close to figuring it out—but not quite there.
I’m 40 now, and looking back, I can see how much of my life has been shaped by trying to understand and work through these things.
What Changed
Over time, I started to notice something. It wasn’t that the different approaches I tried were wrong—they just weren’t looking at the full picture.
Each one focused on a part of the problem—but not how everything connected.
I realized that what was missing wasn’t more techniques—it was the ability to see what was actually going on, clearly.
Not just mentally, but across how I was thinking, feeling, reacting, and holding things in my body.
Once I started to see those patterns, things began to shift—not all at once, but in a way that actually lasted.
That’s what this work is based on.
Some of what I’ve explored
Over the years, I’ve explored a wide range of approaches—partly out of curiosity, but mostly because I was trying to understand and resolve things in myself that didn’t feel clear.
This wasn’t just about trying things—it was about paying attention to what actually helped, what didn’t, and why.
Some of the areas I’ve gone deeper into include:
• Therapy and working with other practitioners — experiencing both the value and the limitations of talking through patterns, emotions, and past experiences, and noticing that insight alone doesn’t always translate into real change in how you live or feel day-to-day.
• Bodywork and structural approaches — including posture, alignment, and myofascial work, which showed me how much the body holds onto patterns over time, and how physical tension is often connected to deeper emotional and behavioral patterns.
• Meditation and awareness practices — where I started to see how the mind creates loops, tension, and confusion, and how trying to control thoughts doesn’t resolve what’s underneath them.
• Nervous system and somatic work — understanding that much of what we experience isn’t just mental, and that real change often requires working with the body and patterns of response, not just thinking differently.
• Habits, diet, and lifestyle structure — experimenting with discipline and routines, and learning that what works has to be aligned with you, not imposed from the outside.
• Coaching and working with others — through early experiences with one-on-one sessions, group coaching, and facilitating a group experience, I began to notice patterns not just in myself, but in how people tend to get stuck—and how often the real issue isn’t what it first appears to be.

Over time, I started to notice something across all of this.
Each of these approaches could be helpful—but often only in a partial way, depending on what was actually going on.
They were each pointing at something real, but from a specific angle.
What made the biggest difference was learning how to see what was really going on holistically — across the mind, the body, behavior, and deeper patterns—and understanding what was most relevant in that moment.
Not just in theory, but in a way that actually changes how you experience your life.
That’s what this work is based on.
