How I Work
Three things, in every coaching program.
Across a program we might work on presence, connection, health and career — often more than one in the same session.
Several lenses at once
I notice what you’ve missed
The area you might not have looked at — or the one you’ve been working too hard.
Each session ends with something to do. What comes back from trying it is what we work with next.
You leave with actions

Why I work this way
Something is blocking you from more joy, freedom and peace in your life. You might be suffering, or you might have a good life already and still feel like something’s missing. And it may not be what you think it is.
I was there. For years I worked hard through lenses, frustrated, feeling like I was missing something but couldn’t figure out what.
What I’ve found is that working across all of these areas in parallel is what makes the difference.
It hones your intuition for which area would create the transformation you’re most seeking — the one that would make the biggest difference in your life — without losing sight of the bigger picture.
What I missed, and why I missed it
Each of these was invisible to me for years. In every case, the thing hiding it was something that was going well.
Presence & Connection
My relationships were fine, so I never looked at how I was showing up in them.
I had friends. I had family. Nothing was wrong, exactly, and I thought my emotional health was okay because nothing was obviously broken. But I wanted deeper friendships, and I didn’t look at that for years, because good enough doesn’t send you looking. It took losing friends, and watching family relationships go somewhere I didn’t want, before I looked at how I’d been showing up.
CAREER & LIFE STRUCTURE
I was good at my job, well paid, and it was interesting enough, so I stayed.
I had career success. It was comfortable. And I got a lot of my joy from my life outside of work, which meant the work never had to be the thing. So everything was good enough. The signs were there — it didn’t feel like me when I told people what I did, and there was a persistent low-level stress, a constant searching for something more.
HEALTH & BODY
I was reasonably fit, so I assumed my health was fine.
I was active. I worked out. I also fell sick often, put on weight, and had pain. The signs were there for years. But other areas of my life were going well, so I told myself it was all right. I didn’t pay real attention until it got bad enough to force me to. The signs were never missing. I was discounting them.
FEELING & HEALING
Healing? Feeling deeply? I didn’t see the need to. I had no idea what it was costing me.
I’d say to myself, I’m so thankful for all the good things in my life — and I meant it. I took care of myself. What I couldn’t see was that I was out of integrity with my authentic self. I had no true peace. I had so much repressed sadness and anger that I was disconnected from reality. And the anxiety from trying to escape feeling them showed up on my face and in my relationships. There are some things you just can’t see.
I don’t assume I know which one it is for you. But I know how convincing good enough sounds from the inside, because I lived it four separate times.
Where we’d start
That’s what we’ll do in our time together — work out which of these actually needs your attention most right now. What you might have missed. What might be staring you in the face, but you can’t see.
